The CZ-USA 83 Pistol is a compact all-steel semi-automatic handgun, designed on the blowback breech principle. Produced with a classic rifled barrel the CZ-USA 83 Pistol has a trigger mechanism of Double Action/Single Action.. The CZ-USA 83 Pistol features an ambidextrous manual safety, magazine catch and slide stop on one side. When the last cartridge of the CZ-USA 83 Pistol magazine has been fired, the slide is locked in its rear position. My wife Bought this pistol for herself this year and loves it. Recoil is very easy to manage, breakdown and handling is fantastic. Accuracy is exceptional, for example at 15 feet offhand she gets consistent 2 inch groups, 25 feet 2.5, bag rested at 35 2.5 as well. all steel construction gives a solid feel in the hand but it is not overly heavy. Some very nice grips are available as are the 12 round magazines. Hundreds of fired rounds and only one Feed issue that turned out to be from a dropped magazine with a slight bend on the flange. ammo used has been white box Winchester, American Eagle and even a few hundred reloads. I enjoy shooting this firearm and believe most shooters looking for a middle price range reliable pistol for sport or carry will also.
