I have owned my Italian made Beretta 92 FS for over 20 years. I have never had a jam and it is deadly accurate. It is very comfortable in my hand and a pleasure to fire. Maintenance is a simple and shouldn''t be a problem even for a novice. As with any firearm, learn about it and practice.

I have owned my 92]Italian made[ for about 6 years now. This is one very reliable pistol. I have pumped about 5000 rounds through it and not a single jam. Thats right! Not a jam!!]I''ve always used good ammo though[ The accuracy is very good too considering its a 5 inch barrel. And the black finish that Beretta uses is extremely durable. Mine is still hanging tough.
One down side I see about this pistol thats worth mentioning is it has a large frame. My gf has tiny hands and she was not confortable holding it. Those with very small hands may not be suited for this handgun. Still it would be great choice for anyone wanting a gun for personal protection. You can''t go wrong with the 15 round cap either.
Besides, military and law enforcement agencies used it for many years. And as far as I some branches of the military still use the M9]same thing as the 92FS[as their side arm, so you should have confidence in a weapon that has been tried, tested, and adopted by the US military.
In all, it''s a beautiful yet brute looking gun. You won''t be unhappy with one of these beauties.

have had this pistol for several years, just loving it!!!! very accurate, easy to manage, just as easy to maintain and clean. might buy another for the wife, she shoots also, if you are looking for your first weapon, look real hard at this one..
