I got my PDA several weeks ago and I love it! The only thing is the spring that operates the slide is VERY heavy and difficult to operate. The gun''s a jewel, easy to conceal and really accurate

Thanks to its small size this pistol is very concealable, however the size is both a blessing and a curse. After checking several manufacturers I found properly sized leather difficult to find in most styles of holster. The grip frame itself is shorter than an officers size gun but the magazines that the gun comes with are basically officer size length, utilizing a plastic bumper that hides the overhang causing the grip to be equal length to the officers acp when loaded. With my particular example I experianced some failures to feed upon initial firing using standard FMJ ammo. Para recommends a 500 round break in period, I am at about 450 and am still experiencing stoppages occasionally. Subsequently This gun has not replced the glock as planned due to my requirment that my defense weapons function 100 of the time. Hopefully this situation will improve with continued use. My only other complaint is with the finish. The black coating is easily scratched and wears quickly from the high points that rub on the inside of my lined holster. All together though its a good concept and would be my choice as my defense gun when I get it to feed reliably.

I bought the Para PDA as a primary self-defense carry gun. The recoil isn''t bad at all with standard velocity ammo but with +P it''s a handfull. It comes with two six-round magazines. Seven rounds will fit into the mag but it won''t lock into the pistol - so count your rounds when loading the spare. You can use standard M1911 magazines if you need more rounds. The Para''s coating is easily scratched and rubs off high points quickly - so plan to touch it up often ]or ignore it like I do[. I''d add a set of Crimson Trace Laser Grips if they were available but the standard night sights work great. Overall it''s a great little gun, easy to carry and 100 percent reliable.
