I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing the witness but now that I have one I''m sold. I have small hands and the grip is the most comfortable I have felt and the recoil is minimal compared to most composite semi-autos. I can''t say much about the reliability because I haven''t put it through too much of a test yet but it seems good, of course it''s not going to compete with a Glock for reliability because it has an external hammer but from what I''ve seen it''s every bit as reliable as an S&W 1911. I was impressed by the accuracy out of the box, I was able to hold a tight group at thirty yards with no problem and the sight was right on the money. The machine finished surfaces are a bit rough and there are some sharp edges on the slide but it''s not how it looks that matters... the gun shoots well and handles even better. A final note: the fifteen round clip is impressive, my friends with other ten round glocks are all jealous. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

A solid built item. lighter than I thought it would be. fine handgun for the price. can''t wait to put some rounds through it.
