A fun and easy gun to shoot. Built like a tank. I have several autos and revolvers but I shoot this one the most. Very accurate and consistent. One drawback is that I could not find any rubber grips for the gun. The listed Hogue grips Ruger sells for this particular model do NOT fit. Believe me, I bought a set. All the grips listed for the New Model Super Blackhawks fit the models with square trigger guards only. I ended up getting the OEM grips checkered. It looks great and makes it one of a kind. The recoil shooting 200gr .44mag ammo is quite manageable with the weight and balance of this gun. Shooting Winchester 180gr .44spl, the recoil feels like your shooting a 22LR pistol. I bought and use it for my carry gun in the woods during hunting season. You don''t have to worry about not having too small of a side arm for any where or any thing during a hunt. A .44mag can virtually take care of any type of game animal you may encounter. A great addition to any handgun collection.

A beautiful revolver in the Ruger tradition. My second Super Blackhawk. This one is even better than the first one I purchased back in the seventies. I own a Single Six, a Blackhawk convertible .357/9mm, and this Super Blackhawk all in stainless steel. When I lay them out together they make an awesome sight and when I take them to the range they make for a very enjoyable afternoon. Great revolver and a superb transaction with TGS. Fair price, fast shipping. My new favorite dealer.
