I just bought the 6" barrel and outshoot all my buddies with their Kimbers, Glocks, & H&K's. The groupings are fantastic and it already has proven to be a deer killer. I would recommend this gun for anyone who likes the feel of a beast!!! It shoots like a dream.

The GP100 with three inch barrel is a great ccw weapon for under arm carry once you get used to the weight. The laser sights make even better.

I just picked up my ruger gp100 two days ago in the stainless steel, 4 inch barrel. I love this gun! I don't have a lot of experience with revolvers, but I would compare the quality on this to any Smith & Wesson that I have ever seen. Fit and finish is top notch, and the gun fires like a dream. Although the price is up there, this is a very high quality firearm. In my humble opinion, anyone considering purchasing one of these handguns should do so and never look back. I don't think you will regret it. Also, 357 magnum rox!
