I just got my new 84FS over the weekend. Though it looks every bit as amazing as the photos, I've had one major problem: The slide is so difficult to pull back that I've had jams every time - guess I can't get the slide pulled back far enough. I thought there was something wrong with the gun, so I took it to my gunsmith friend. Unfortunately that's just the way the gun is made, evidently. I'd heard several people talking about getting their wives one, so I picked one up for myself (I'm a woman - and no weakling, mind you.) Guys, you may need to chamber the first round for your wives... unless my gun is just a lemon.

I''ve owned my Baretta for MANY TROUBLE FREE YEARS!!, like Gin stated in a previous review, abit tough putting one in the chamber when New....with use, it gets better and better. If you can shoot...]self defense[...this Barretta is a perfect economical lifetime investment weapon
