Obtained the 16 S last month. Also own Bushmaster, and Lewis Machine Tool products. This FN has superb geometry, no significant muzzle rise, excellent balance, and accepts everything from Night Vision through CQB scopes on the long top rail. The pop-up iron sights were easy to zero with a laser bore sighting tool. Both the factory and Lancer mags worked smoothly with all ammo grades. Simple to field strip, and clean. Out of the box it had some factory generated dirt in the barrel, but cleaned up quickly. Excellent gun for the money.
