I purchased a new model Taurus 66 last year and have fired it many times. It is the best feeling revolver or pistol that I have ever had in my hands. I also own a S&W 9mm auto ]for carry[but for feeling and accuracy the S&W is not in the same field with the Taurus Model 66. I also own other handguns but they too are outclassed by the 66. I found no problems with recoil using the magnum ammo. My carry will now be the Model 66.

I own one of these pistols and I enjoy it very much. I only shoot .38 specials in it though because the ammo is cheaper and the recoil is pretty comfortable when I'm shooting it. I definitely recommend it.
