I LOVE THIS RIFLE. SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT, NOT ONLY DOES IT TAKES M16 MAGAZINES BUT IT ALSO TAKES AR15 OR M16 FLASH SUPRESSORS.VERY EASY TO BUMP FIRE (CALIFORNIA VERSION OF FULLY AUTO). VERY EASY TO BREAK DOWN AND CLEAN. OVER 2,000 ROUNDS FIRED AND STILL NO JAMS..

Great little .223 carbine with the handling of an M1 Carbine. I also have the AR15 & Mini-14. If I could only keep one it would be the SU16CA. It is very quick to bring up on target and very accurate. I Keep a 20 RD mag in the well and a 30 Rounder in the stock. The built-in Bi-pod is nice too. Plus the added bonus of being reasonably priced.

My buddy just got his today. Took it to the range and the sites were so close already that no one felt the need to adjust them. What a value!!! Shot a colt along side it. Kel Tec was lighter and a 4th the price. I miss the pistol grip, but that was a blast. I am completely impressed and will throw one in my gun safe asap. No jamming problems for us. San Diego

Pros: Design, finish, and quality is very good on the Kel-Tec SU-16CA. No bad surprises. The fact that the Stock folds to a compact size for a backpack is a real design winner. Cons: A 30rd magazine does fit in the stock, but is very hard to remove. The spring loaded pins that hold the 10rd magazines in scratched the aluminum mag up and held it way to tight to remove easily. I do like the gun and believe it was a good buy in comparison to an AR-15 which I did not want. Also I got an excellent price and service from TGS.com. I gave it 4 stars because I have not had a chance to test fire the rifle yet.

It may take you 50rds to sight it in by adjusting the front and rear sight. Mine wasn't sighted from the factory. Once done, no problems. No feeding problems here. Guaranteed for life. Unique rifle. Happy with mine. Also have a P-11 never a misfire. Half the cost of other guns, a real value.

I love this rifle. What's not to love? Lightweight, compact, and super accurate. Plus, the folks at KelTec are the best. They do stand behind their products. I rather go with Keltec than ruger mini 14.
